PTSA Meeting/Event Schedule (2011 - 2012) September ~ October ~ November ~ December ~ January ~ February ~ March ~ April ~ May ~ June PTSA Meeting Schedule (2011- 2012) Everyone is welcome at PTSA meetings and events. Monthly membership meetings will be held on the following Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm. Meetings will be held in the high school library unless otherwise noted. Look for updated information, schedule changes and our membership application at www.mc-ptsa.org. PTSA members will be notified of upcoming programs, events and meetings via email. SEPTEMBER No meeting in *September* Tuesday, September 13^th - JHS Back to School Night Tuesday, September 20^th - HS Back to School Night Membership sign-up and refreshments. Watch for our Yankee Candle Sale - deliveries before the holidays Homecoming Festivities sponsored by the PTSA: Friday, September 23rd- Flag Football Tournament (PTSA provides refreshments and trophy) OCTOBER Kick-off Meeting: Thursday, October 13^th 7pm – HS Library *A Special Welcome to 7^th grade parents! All Parents are invited to attend!* NOVEMBER Wednesday, November 16^th – 12:00 noon at the Mattituck Laurel Library DECEMBER No meeting in December - Happy Holidays! JANUARY Thursday, January 12^th - 7pm meeting - HS Library Friday, January 27th - JHS Ice Skating Party at Greenport Skating Rink for 7th & 8th Graders (rescheduled to March 2nd see below) PTSA Sponsored Greenport Ice Skating Rink Buses leave at 2:30. Skate from 3-5. *Permission slips must be handed in prior to Friday* Complimentary hot chocolate from Starbucks in Mattituck, water, chips & Dunkin Donuts provided by PTSA. FEBRUARY Wednesday, February 8^th - 12:00 noon at the Mattituck Laurel Library Speaker tentatively planned for this meeting. Check www.mc-ptsa.org for details. MARCH Friday, March 2nd- JHS Ice Skating Party at Greenport Skating Rink for 7th & 8th Graders PTSA Sponsored Greenport Ice Skating Rink Buses leave at 2:30. Skate from 3-5. Thursday, March 8^th - 7pm meeting - HS library March - Watch for the date of the Shakespeare event APRIL No Meeting in April Wednesday, April 4th - Annual Fashion Show MAY Thursday, May 10^th - 7pm meeting - HS library *May Events:* (all dates and locations to be determined) Teacher and Staff Appreciation Breakfast - provided by PTSA Board of Education Meet the Candidates Night - sponsored by PTSA Prom - pre-prom refreshments & decorations provided by PTSA JUNE Wednesday, June 13th, 2012- End of year Celebration (5:00 – 7:00pm location to be determined) Graduation: Saturday, June 23rd, 2012 PTSA Scholarships will be awarded at graduation.
